These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Salat on Time mobile application ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Salat on Time, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Salat on Time is an iOS application designed to help Muslims maintain their daily prayers by:
- Providing accurate prayer times based on your location
- Blocking selected apps during prayer times using Apple's Screen Time API
- Tracking prayer completion, streaks, and achievements
- Offering prayer verification via Apple Watch or manual confirmation
3. Eligibility
You must have a compatible iOS device to use Salat on Time. The app requires iOS 17.0 or later. By using the app, you confirm that you are able to form a binding agreement.
4. Subscription & Pricing
- Salat on Time offers a free 3-day trial for new users
- After the trial period, a subscription of $2.99/month is required to continue using the app
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
All payments are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support.
5. App Blocking Feature
The app blocking feature uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that:
- Selected apps will be restricted during prayer times based on your configured grace period
- You are responsible for choosing which apps to block
- App blocking may affect your ability to use certain apps during prayer times
- The feature requires your explicit authorization through Apple's system prompts
6. Prayer Times Accuracy
Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic calculation methods. While we strive for accuracy, prayer times are approximate and may vary based on your location, calculation method chosen, and other factors. You should verify prayer times with your local mosque or Islamic authority when in doubt.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code in Salat on Time are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app in accordance with its intended purpose
- Not attempt to interfere with the app's functionality
- Not use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Keep your device and iOS version compatible with the app's requirements
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Salat on Time is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Prayer times will be 100% accurate in all locations
- The app blocking feature will work with all third-party apps
- Apple Watch prayer detection will be accurate in all conditions
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salat on Time and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed prayers, inaccurate prayer times, or inability to access blocked apps.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and canceling your subscription. We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.
14. Apple's Standard EULA
In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
